When I saw the launch of the Dame Edna collection from MAC Cosmetics, I knew I had to get my hands on a few of the items. Sure, I love neutrals as much as the next girl, but I’m craving some color– particularly the lilac shade that tops off the Dame’s head. Thankfully, I have a few of the products in my possession and I wanted to share them with you.

Wisteria Eye Shadow Trio– This trio is absolutely adorable. If you are looking for an icy winter look, then this will definitely give you that result. The shades are a shiny silver, pastel blue and gunmetal gray. All of the shadows have a good amount of shimmer and they are formulated like most of MAC’s shadow–highly pigmented and soft. The compact is pure purple with the Dame’s signature red glasses on the front. It opens up to reveal a large mirror to make application on the go a little bit easier.

Possum Nose Pink Lip Glass– I can already tell that this is going to be a shade that I reach for over and over again. It is a high-shine, medium-neon pink that contains a bit of shimmer and that favorite vanilla scent. What I really like about this gloss is that it is more transparent than you would think. It offers a nice layer of color, but it won’t overpower your lips. And it actually has an almost vinyl-like finish which makes them look bigger. I’m obsessed and I haven’t even had it for a week yet!

Nail Lacquer in Varicose Violet– If you want lilac then this is wear it’s at! This polish is an amazing iridescent, frosted purple with just a hint of pink undertones. I haven’t used it just yet, but I can tell I am going to love it.

The packaging for this collection is brilliant and really shows off Dame Edna’s personality and sense of style. I am smitten with the collection and plan on making a bee-line to my MAC store to check out the fabulous-looking lipstick!
